Optimising for Speed (VentraIP + Plugins)
A fast-loading website keeps visitors engaged, improves your SEO rankings, and reduces bounce rates. Since VentraIP hosting runs on LiteSpeed servers, the best way to optimise your WordPress site is by using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
Step 1: Check Hosting Settings in VentraIP
Before plugins, make sure your hosting is optimised:
- PHP Version → In cPanel → “Select PHP Version,” choose the latest stable PHP (usually PHP 8+).
- SSL Certificate → Enable free SSL in cPanel → “SSL/TLS.” Always serve your site over HTTPS.
- LiteSpeed Server → Confirm your hosting plan includes LiteSpeed (most VentraIP plans do).
Step 2: Install LiteSpeed Cache Plugin
- In WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New.
- Search for LiteSpeed Cache.
- Install & Activate.
This plugin connects directly with VentraIP’s LiteSpeed server for maximum performance.
Step 3: Configure Basic Settings
After activation, go to LiteSpeed Cache → General:
- Enable Caching → On.
- Purge All on Upgrade → Yes (refreshes cache when you update plugins/themes).
- Default Public Cache TTL → 604800 (7 days).
Step 4: Optimise Page Speed
Go to LiteSpeed Cache → Page Optimisation:
- CSS/JS Minify → On.
- CSS/JS Combine → Start with Off (turn on if no conflicts).
- Load CSS Asynchronously → On.
- Remove Unused CSS → On (big boost).
- HTML Minify → On.
👉 Always test after enabling — sometimes combining files causes conflicts with Elementor.
Step 5: Optimise Images
Go to LiteSpeed Cache → Image Optimisation:
- Click Send Optimisation Request → LiteSpeed will compress images on their cloud servers.
- Enable WebP image format for faster loading.
- Turn on Lazy Load Images so images only load when scrolled into view.
Step 6: Use QUIC.cloud CDN (Optional but Recommended)
LiteSpeed integrates with QUIC.cloud, a global CDN (Content Delivery Network).
- Go to LiteSpeed Cache → General → QUIC.cloud Settings.
- Register a free QUIC.cloud account.
- Enable CDN → this serves images, CSS, and JS from global servers for faster delivery worldwide.
Step 7: Test Your Speed
Use these tools:- Google PageSpeed Insights →

Quick Recap
- VentraIP’s LiteSpeed servers + LiteSpeed Cache plugin = best performance.
- Minify CSS/JS, remove unused CSS, and lazy load images.
- Optimise images & serve in WebP.
