Headers, Footers & Global Settings
Headers and footers are key elements that appear across every page of your website. Elementor allows you to fully customise them, while Global Settings keep your branding consistent.
Step 1: Customising Your Header
- In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Templates → Theme Builder → Header.
- Click Add New Header.
- Use Elementor to design:
- Logo (Image widget).
- Navigation menu (Nav Menu widget).
- Call-to-action button (e.g., “Book Now” or “Get Quote”).
- Logo (Image widget).
- Publish → assign it to the Entire Site.
Step 2: Customising Your Footer
- Go to Templates → Theme Builder → Footer.
- Add elements like:
- Business details (address, phone, email).
- Social icons.
- Newsletter signup (if using a plugin).
- Copyright text.

- Publish → assign to the Entire Site.
Step 3: Using Global Settings
Instead of styling each element separately, Elementor’s Global Settings ensure consistency:
- Open Elementor → top left hamburger menu (☰) → Site Settings.
- Set:
- Global Colours (brand palette).
- Global Fonts (headings, body, buttons).
- Theme Style (links, images, backgrounds).
👉 Update once here, and it applies site-wide.
