So… i bought an iPhone the other day and it would have to of be one of the best purchases i have ever made.
At first i was quite hessitant to buy one as i have many friends and previous work mates who have bought one and they don’t leave it out of their sight. If we go out for dinner they would place it on the table and continually check it. I didn’t want to be like that!
After 1 year of holding off i couldn’t resist anymore. I went to the local shopping centre and grabbed myself a 16gb iPhone.
Now, i am exactly like my friends, and loving it.
The following are my most used apps:
This needs no further explanation.
OzWeather
For under $2 this a great app. What is it for? Well it tells you the weather. I found the yahoo app that comes with the iPhone is never up to date and is up to 10 degrees out.
OzWeather gives you all the up to date information you need.
Monopoly Here & Now: The World Edition
If you love the board game get this little app. Very addictive.
“The first ever global MONOPOLY featuring the greatest cities from around the world, as voted by you, is now available at a retailer near you. Featuring electronic banking, 6 of 24 available custom movers randomly selected in every box and globally representative houses and hotels, renewable energy utilities and all new transportation spaces, the MONOPOLY Here & Now: The World Edition game offers a global excursion with every turn around the board.”
AroundMe
I was in Lygon St the other day. I had just finished a great pasta dish when i realised i don’t have any cash on me. Damn!
Not to worry. I logged onto AroundMe, clicked on Banks. Appeared in front of me was a list of the closest banks to where i was sitting. Oh! There is a bank just around the corner 100 meters away. Clicked on directions and it showed me the way there.
This app will grab your current location and will list the things closest to you from Parking to Supermarkets.
Sudoku (Free)
Fun when your waiting.
